GREYING OUT FILES in JFileChooser

Greetings:

We would like to be able to enchance the functionality of JFileChooser
to provide the following:

Enable the user to ONLY be able to select DIRECTORIES, but be able to
SEE what FILES are in each directory, and have ALL FILES greyed out so
they cannot be selected.

This makes the selection of a DIRECTORY and informed decision, i.e. the
user can see what files a directory contains before selecting the
directory, yet cannot select any of the files, since ALL FILES would be
GREYED OUT.

Our application allows a user to upload an entire directory at a time.
We would just like them to be able to see what is in a directory
without being able to pick any of the files individually.

Thanks for your interest.

kindest regards,

Eric Webber
