Yeah, I tried the screen capture and then paint over the frame/window
and I still get the same
thing. It flashes quickly and then fades in the panel. Yeah, the user
will be able to cancel the
fade effect to a straight pop-up. It should be a quick fade though. The
user shouldn't have to
wait for it to become totally visible or usable.
