I don't think so. The GUI's responsiveness seems to vary and is (just) acceptable at the moment. Hm.
Still, it's not the computing environment: when I say "my GUI's slow" I mean it's slower than the (obviously very well optimized) netbeans GUI. To be absolutely precise, the menus don't follow the mouse movement as quickly, for example.


But it doesn't seem like a major problem at the moment.
