Or is the X/Y the coords of the pointer as soon as it leaves? That is,
if the mouse is leaving the panel, what would the X/Y be? the last
point inside the panel, or the first point outside it?


Also, would you be able to tell me how to do the translation of the
coords correctly from the components coords, etc?

Off the top of my head, no, although I know I've done this before.

Maybe someone else has some better ideas ...
