Hi,
i am pretty much new to java. I occasionally
use vi. But i just thought kdevelop could be
worth it, on linux to use as IDE.
Sounds like Eclipse is pretty good, but i've
never used it. And as far as i know, it sounds
to be much if not all tied to the IBM java API.
Could people try to provide me some clues, what's
best to use on linux, with the sun api (which is
the one i prefer actually).
I thank you all in advance,

I can't speak to how eclipse works on Linux (but it should work the same
as on windows since its developed with Java) but I'm using sun's jdk
just fine using eclipse in windows. It works fine for me and I even have
the subversion plugin installed. There are a ton of options and I
haven't even touched half of them so it's definitely just fine for me. I
can't speak to KDevelop.
Thanks much, that was big part of my questioning, would eclipse will work
with sun jdk.. now i have the answer.. thanks much.. i can make it a try. :)
