Now come on. There are 132 MB of docs bundled with Java not to
mention the stuff out on the web. This is not like refusing to read
the JavaDoc for a specific method.

Now come on. Are you serioiusly suggesting that they should not read the referenced link? I told them which of the 132 MB of docs to read, because it helps with the specific question. It is because "name change" is not the first thing that would come to mind that I provided the link. How the bloody hell do you take exception to that? Was not the link useful? Did it not answer the question?
