J2EE 1.4 and Resin 3.0.4

I installled Resin 3.0.4 and J2EE 1.4 (gold). When I start Resin I get
the following error:

Specification version 1.4 of package javax.servlet, Java 2 Platform,
Enterprise
Edition Specification, version 1.4 is not compatible with Resin
Resin-3.0.4. Resin Resin-3.0.4 requires version 2.4.
