Hi,
Anyone installed the latest J2EE on Linux? Even if you haven't, please read
this as the I think the timout bit is the problem.
When running 'asadmin start-domain domain1', I get the messages:
Starting Domain domain1, please wait.
Log redirected to /opt/SUNWappserver/domains/domain1/logs/server.log.
The disk thrashes for a while and then goes quiet. Checking the process
shows little activity. When I look in the log the first error I get is:
Remote message: Compiling wrapper code ....
Compilation failed: com.sun.ejb.codegen.ProcessExecutorException: Process
timed out.
Timeout was 60,000 msecs
After that I get a long list of compile errors each finishing with 'Timeout
was 60,000 msecs'.
The machine is quite old, do I just need to increase the timeout? If so,
how?
OS: Red Hat 9
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Micah
