Problem with JBuilder

I hava problem with jdbNavComobox and GridLayout in JBuilder9.0
When I put jdbNavComobox in Panel with GridLayout and start app in that
frame jdbNavComobox spreads itself as it needs to show all data inside.
How can I limit that jdbNavComobox horizontal size stays always the same?
