It needs some more graceful failure mode for
pre 1.4 JVM's (I tried it when my system default
was 1.2 and it crashed out and offered to send
a fault report to MS).
They also need a slightly better installation
than 'drag these into WINDOWS/system32/' as well
Once those little hiccups were sorted I could
see them.. Yeah.. not bad. The 'bouncing
line' is almost a 'hello world' of screensavers,
and the BlackGlass showed some of the potential
[ I particularly like the "copperhead bouncing
coily snake" thing ..tilts head ..squints
..maybe it's just me. ;-) ]
To someone like me with a SlideShow, a lot of
photos, a few Java 3D models, and who has
made screensavers, this is interesting.
I have always wanted to make x-platform savers..
Time to begin experimenting. :-)
