Ok, it did not stop working on Jan. 1. It stopped working about 7 days ago.
But I will do the update root thing, and the cryptography thing. It is odd that my
partners computer is fine and mine is not. He does not have the updated toolbar
(eBay) or the extra anti-spyware. Webroot Spysweeper is ( or used to be) great stuff
and never interfered before either. I've had Adaware forever too. Just got this new
computer though and was slowly adding stuff. YOu just can't install everything in a
day or 2 when you get a new puter. Had to install Office, Photoshop, etc. So over
this period of a month, everything worked until last week.. My old puter was old
hardware, so I had to tape it together and that didn't work any more. That is how
much detest installing everything again, to keep an old comptuer taht long, but that
is typical. I detest having to format, etc. It so time consuming is the only reason
of course. But so is loading my eBay pics 3 times till I get it right. My partner and
I are on a LAN, if that means anything. We have 3 puters hooked up to each other and
the internet, DSL.
