IOException in Applet

I've downloaded an applet LEDSign. I've installed it
on mij webserver (IIS on XP) and the applet gives the error
that it could not connect to the server for a font file.

I've also installed it on the webserver at work (Apache on Linux)
and there it works fine.

Does anyone know why it doesn't work on IIS. Do I need to open
some kind of port? Or is there something else I overlooked.

Any help is welcome.
