This isn't a Red Hat answer, but under Debian and Debian derivatives
(including Ubuntu) you will find it in /usr/bin/javaws. This should be
true for Red Hat too. That's the whole point of the /etc/alternatives/
hierarchy. There is a symbolic link in /usr/bin that points to a link
in /etc/alternatives that points to the real program. You shouldn't
really need to dig around in the filesystem much. I might check the
default location where Sun installs the JDK if I didn't find it in
/usr/bin, but going much further than this just isn't going to buy you
much.
