JRE1.5.0_05 is not fully supported for 64 bit system yet.
JDK1.4.2_10 more than likely is. Sometimes the newest version is not
always the best version to intall. From experience using JRE1.5.0 on
SuSE Linux a few years ago (Yeah, JRE1.5.0 is not as new as you think
it is.), I learned that the older version is much better.
The best suggestion I would offer is to uninstall JRE1.5.0 and stick
with JDK1.4.2 until SUN can get enough clients who have JRE1.5.0.
