Automatic personalization based on web usage mining

I'm a student and doing a project in "Automatic personalization based
on web usage mining".
Please tell me can i implement the data minig algorithms in Java(Core
or advanced). I don't have access to JDM API or Oracle 10g, i've to
work with Oracle 9i & jsdk. I need some help in implementation part.
