Years ago the old saying was that it ran in cycles. Either hardware would change or system software would change. Back then it would take around three years for either to catch up with each other. That is, in the work place and in not labs. Since I got into the pc arena, I was not happy camper with that in 1992. With all of the decentralization of processing we all know how short that cycle has come to... Yesterday... LOL
