Hi,

I'm using Java 1.3 on Solaris. Does anyone know a function or have
code that checks if a string satisfies being a valid email address
format? It is not important whether or not that email address actually
exists.

Use GoogleGroups to search the archive of this newsgroup. I've personally answered this question 2 or 3 times here over the last year or so.
