Re: Displaying time taken to get Results from MySQL Database

Hi. I am writing a program in java which gets results from a MySQL
Database. I would like to know how, or if it is possible, to display in
a label the amount of time taken to get the results from the MySQL
Database.

The general, quick and dirty, way to determine how long
a computation takes is to note the system time before and
after the computation (fetch, connection..) and subtract the two.

For the system time, see
System.currentTimeMillis()
