I need PointBase for a sample

I try to start Adventure builder as a NetBeans module. I followed
instructions from:
http://blogs.sun.com/pblaha/date/20051101
In a instructions I need to start PointBase server.
I have NetBeans 5.0, installed Application Server 9.0, but there is no
PointBase database. HOw to add it, so that I can try the sample?
p.s.
Where to find other enterprise samples ?
