Regarding the list of authorized charset names such as "utf-8" where do I
find a Java list of acceptable names as apparently all this is very
cofusing with names and aliases.
The official list is kept by IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority), see
<http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets>.
Cheers!
