Out of curiosity, why is this entry in a _Java_ Glossary?

I suppose I could write one in Java that just keeps growing and
zeroing a file until it runs out of space, but that would interfere
with other apps.
I found that TuneUp Utilities have a "Shredder" component which allows to
wipe files in your wastebin. Works on Windows, only though.
