XML and J2EE 1.3

Hello,
I'd like to know wheather I can use a program that uses xml-modules
out of J2SE 1.4 within J2EE 1.3?
Are the XML-Modules of J2SE1.4 identical with the modules from J2EE
1.3, at least to a some extent?
