Formatting dates in Struts

I notice the bean tag has a format attribute, but I haven't been able
to find any examples on how to use it. I have a bean which returns a
Date (java.util.Date), which is currently being displayed as
2003-11-6. I would like to choose how to display it, but don't know
how the format tag is supposed to be used. I would like to display it
as "11/06/2003 18:30".
