I'd like to create a Java app with a main window (empty frame with menu bar)
and allow the app to open multiple windows of arbitrary types which can
float, it be independently moved, overlapped, and resized. This would be
like Word when you have more than one document open at time.
It seems like this should be simple but I can't see it. Java's layout
manager approach to managing the windows doesn't seem to have a layout this
flexible.
Your suggestions are appreciated in advance of their arrival.
Thanks,
jim cant
