error trying to initialize the HPI library

Some people have this problem. We also. But we solved this problem by
changing LD_LIBRARY_PATH:
/usr/java/jre/lib/sparc/client:/usr/java/jre/lib/sparc:
.../sparc/client must stand befor ../sparc
.
