Let me see if I follow:


Collection<? extends Automobile> a = new ArrayList<Automobile>( 10 );

a.add( new Automobile() );

a.add( new Car() ); // blocked


So strangely Collection<? extends Automobile> means the exact
opposite.

it means Collection<only Automobile no Cars or Trucks>
