adding images to netbeans project path?

I'm trying to compile a jar file I dlled, using NetBeans. I've imported
the project successfully, and it compiles, but then doesn't run. The
problem seems to be that it can't locate the icon files that are loaded
in the project. How can I add the location of these files so they will
be locatable at runtime.
