Services is urgently seeking an experienced Java / J2EE / Java EE
Application Developer.
In this exciting and challenging position, the successful candidate
will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and
evaluating programs for shared company and external services. We seek
a highly-proficient IT professional with a strong Java / J2EE / Java
EE background and proven experience building high quality, high volume
business applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, the successful candidate will:
* Utilize object oriented (OO) development tools to analyze, model,
design, construct and test software systems
* Participate in business and technical information technology
solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions
* Use test driven development techniques including JUnit
* Investigate and resolve problems with software products and systems
* Identify areas for code improvement and refactor code
* Participate in requirements review sessions
* Contribute to project estimation process
* Perform peer code reviews
* Prepare system documentation
REQUIREMENTS
* Three years minimum experience in the software development industry
* Proven application development experience with JSP / Struts /
Tiles / WebSphere web-based applications
* Proven application development experience with in J2EE / Java EE
technologies - specifically, Servlets, EJBs, JMS, and JDBC
* Familiar with HTML & JavaScript
* Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design
methodologies and life cycles
* Demonstrates a proven ability to work and communicate equally well
with roles such as lead developer, architects, project managers,
business and QA analysts
