app" I'm referring to vim and emacs.
OK, fine -- you're referring to TWO ancient apps. But none of the
nasty things that you have said or implied about me are at all true.
Secondly, cutting and pasting between, for example, gvim and a web
browser is exactly the same, in user interface terms, as between
notepad and a web-browser. I can use the mouse or keyboard in
exactly the same way.
That's using a GUI browser and an xterm or some such rot, not using
say vi (no fancy variant, just vi) and lynx.
