Cant read from com port RXTXcomm

Hello,
Trying to work with serial device using RXTXcomm in Debian linux. I
can send data to device/other_pc. Unfortunately I can't read anything
from it. No data available in port.
The same code in Windows works correctly.
What is the best way to start look for problem?
