A side note on posting conventions for Usenet:
- When you quote other posts, set off the quoted material with a leading "> " on each line. Good newsreaders will do this for you automatically.
- Quote only the parts of other posts that are relevant for your response. ("Trim your posts.")
- Don't top-post - that is, don't put your response at the top and the quoted material underneath. Insert your responses in line with the quoted material.
These conventions make posts much easier to read and understand.
