Looking for remote windows registry query of installed apps tool

    Hi,
     I'm trying to find some sample code (or finished) that would help me
    write a java app that can remotely connect to any Window 2000/NT
    system and retrieve a list of all installed apps with their versions.
    I presume it's some form of registry query.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.
