Hi,
I am looking for an IDE (Freeware preferred) which will allow me to
write code with minimum effort. Very much like WebLogic Workshop
studio from BEA. A tool that allows me to define my JDBC connections
and drag my connections to my code (like DreamWeaver from Micromedia),
a tool where I can create a JMS and create messages without having to
know much on JMS.
A visual tool (like WebLogic) where the code is more graphical than
source view, this way others can debug the code without having to look
too much into the code and focus more into the problem. A tool that
allows me to create most of the code visually (especially connecting
to DBs, using JMS and creating WebServices).
I have looked at several tools out there: Jdev, WebLogic,
WebSphere, Visual Studio .Net, Eclipse. Some are 'OK' but they lack
on other factors (pricing for one). Does anyone know if Eclipse has
plugins that implemented for all these and other possible visual
enhancements.
Thnak you.
