    In Thunderbird, you can go to Tools::Message Filters... and select a new
    rule that deletes the message if it's from a certain person.

    There are ways to stop people from posting stuff, but they ususally
    involve more work than it's worth in contacting where they're posting
    from and trying to get them kicked off that server.
