For my company i do an UML-Tool evaluation. It should be an eclipse plugin
and also support XMI Im-/Export (because we have Rose-Models to import).
This is my list for the evaluation-process:
-Omondo EclipseUML Studio
-No Magic MagicDraw UML
-Borland Together Eclipse Plugin
-Visual Paradigm SDE
-Metanology MDE for UML
After testing all tools, i had to recognize that no tool will fit our
modeling guidelines.
Are there any other tools, i should look at? Actually we use Rational Rose
2002 for modeling, but its to heavyweight and not easy to use. I'm looking
for a lightweight UML-tool which is easy to customize and also fast. Rose
isn't it.
Anybody know a nice UML-tool which i have overlooked ?
(please cut the trees so i can see the forest)
Thank you.
