opening a file on a certain line in jedit 4,1

hello. I have a problem opening a file on a specific line in jedit
under windows XP. if i type

> jedit.exe thesis.toc +line:10

it opens two files "thesis.toc" and "+line:10"

instead of jumping to line 10 of the thesis.toc file.

what am I doing wrong?
