Wishlist for IDE

I would like it if could do the following when in an IDE.

1. View my controls sorted by font. I would like to sort by face/size
or size face and see nothing else.

2. view my controls sorted by some gridbag parm such as x, y, or
gridwidth, weighx etc.

3. view my controls by colour foreground/background.

4. view my controls by type e.g. all buttons together.

5. view my control alphabetically.

6. see a simulation of the display without having to actually run real
code, perhaps in a separate small window as I make changes to the
code.

Sorting this way would make irregularities stand out, and make it
easier to make global changes without all the irrelevant stuff in the
way.
