Netbeans 5.5 problem with "SHARP" (#) keybinding in italian keyboard

Hi to all,
I'm using Netbeans 5.5 on Sun Java 6 jdk platform on an ubuntu Edgy
system.
I've installed the C/C++ IDE plugin in order to develop c++
application with Netbeans and I've got a strange problem.
I'm actually using the italian keyboard layout where the SHARP (#) key
is mapped on the combination ALT+(à#°) dedicated key that is present
on italian keyboard with other accent key between the letters keys and
Return key.
The problem is that in a common C++ source code I need to inserd
preprocessor directive with the # directive and I'm not able to make
netbeans recognize the pression of ALT+(à#°) key as # character
obtaining a simple à instead (as ALT has not been hold).
In the resto of GNOME environment software/applications the
combination ALT+(#à°) is well recognized as # but not in Netbeans.
Could it be an IDE key-shortcut problem or is maybe related to some
JRE bad configuration ?
The rest of typing is mapped as in normal italian keyboard (that is
òàùè and so on) ... the problem seems to be the combination ALT with
some key.
Waht do you think ?
Thank you !!!
Alex
