I just tested this on Sun as well and found that it is a Motif issues
and not an HPUX issue. I cannot get the UI to work properly on Sun
Motif or HPUX Motif, but it does work on Sun if I use GTK. Any idea
why I cannot get it to work with Motif?
I have not used Motif, but but it would seem to me every windowing
system would have its own API. So an app would have to be written to
work with a particular one.
It seems peculiar to me for example that Gnome and GTK live side by
side on Linux. Does this not divide the Linux universe of software in
two?
Or are all these just implementations of X-windows so to the program
they all look identical?
