We are looking for Mobile Application developers for a growing, well
established software company in Toronto which develops applications
for the telecommunication industry. This company offers a competitive
salary, benefits, bonus incentives and options.
The Role:
We are seeking people experienced in developing software for mobile
devices. You will develop mobile applications which are deployed by
network operators. These applications are used by consumers to access,
organize and share digital media.
Responsibilities:
* Program applications in Java for various mobile devices
* Resolve defects in existing software
* Determine tasks and estimate effort required to implement
functionality
* Participate in requirements management
* Participate in incident resolution
* Provide technical recommendations
Candidates must have at least the following professional experience:
* 4 years of Java development, especially J2ME
* 4 years programming software for mobile devices
* 4 years of object-oriented design
* 2 years programming software for BlackBerry devices
The following experience is desirable:
* Formal education in computer science
* Client-server communication, especially HTTP
* Image, audio, video processing
* C++ programming for Windows Mobile or Windows PC
