Hi

I've recently installed linux (mandrake) on my computer and noticed that
the java package which comes with it isn't the one that sun offer. its
kaffe.
I plan on removing this package and installing sun's. I just wanted to
know, will the latest
J2EE version (1.4) run on my linux mandrake system. the sun site says that
its for red hat linux, so I'm thinking I can't install it on my pc as I've
got mandrake.
Then again, if it is supported by red hat, maybe this implies mandrake as
well.

THanks.
