    Under windows the types that should raise a flag in your head saying "ah
    ah ah, this could be a virus and not christina aguilera caught backstage
    nude!" Why would anyone want to send you these things you must ask.
    These are known to be able to contain viruses.
    The best thing to do is only open stuff that is in the friendly common
    formats. PDF only for documents, or star office :), JPEG, GIF, BMP,
    PCX, .txt files and a couple.

    Also be carefull, under windows if "hide extension of known file types"
    is enabled, a file called "Hello.txt.bat" will be named "Hello.txt" have
    the same icon as a text file. So hiding known extensions should be off.
