Thanks. I have the icon on the desktop, but didn't realize it was for the developers enviroment of Java. This is all for my kid who is taking it in
high school. I do other languages, but never got into Java (at least not
yet).

Re: jtides ... I used this command line when in the directory containing the jtides.jar file; java142 does have a config.sys Path entry here. ... If he has more than one java on the system, that may not give him the right result. ... Then pick an icon with the icon tab and next time it will launch by just double-clicking on the icon. ...
