Don't know if this helps but I have "Learning Java 2nd Edition". I can
send that chapter from that PDF, in the mean time. What is the chapter
heading?

I'm not sure how much difference there will be between editions, but it's better than the the "hole" I have at the moment!
The chapter is called "Core Utilities".

No reply from O'Reilly yet, but the place I bought it from has issued a refund, they said I can keep the book. At least I have all the other chapters :-p
Very wierd problem, book looks perfect physically, but that chapter simply hasn't been included when it was printed...
