what kinds of neat stuff can lisp do?

One of the replies to the question about string splitting showed a
neat little example of what you can do with *readtable*. I think I'd
like to start a web page showing more examples of cool stuff that
lisp can do. Can people send me SHORT examples illustrating their
favorite neat lisp feature?
