Help!!!

I did a job for this guy a little while ago. The problem is that he
wants to be able to change his website and he has to know FTP to do so.
He called me and asked me to help him. Also, his hosting company is
unreachible. ( I think that theyre scam artists, because all they gave
him is an email address, and they won't return his nor my emails.) And,
I was wondering if any of you could tell me how to use FTTP and also
HTML because he may have me rebuild his website.
