Its a mistaken impression is that you have to be an expert Lisp programmer to use Lisp. Lisp is no different that any other language, in that, to write good programs you need really good/expert programmers. C++ game programmers encounter the very same memory allocation issues that Lisp programmers would encounter, the knowledge is transferable.

There are no slow processors and limited memory environments anymore.
Even if one undertook to write a new game, if it took 3 years to
do, processor speed would be 4x what it is now.
