Hm, AFAIK most western countries used to be called Occident, and Turkey, Arabia, but also other Muslim and Russian-Orthodox countries were called Orient (or "morning land" in German). I don't think anybody would have considered them European.


Well, it's just a name, so whatever...
(I guess the EUROPE packages we use differ in their exported symbols.)
