200x, McCarthy asked him if Python could handle code as data. To his
credit, Norvig got the answer right.
Of course it can handle code as data! All you need to do is to write a
sufficiently complicated Python program containing an ad hoc,
informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of Common
Lisp. :-)
