I wasn't going to post again, but the facts need to be set straight here.

The supposed "99 percent of the time" benefits of free trade *are* being questioned by academic economists. Respected economists at major universities are callling the doctrine itself untested and hence unscientific theoretical dogma enforced by academic ostracism:
